Hey! I’m Sienna Petersen! I’m so stoked to have qualified for the World Skimo Championships!! It’s always been a major life dream and goal of mine to competitively race in Europe. This is my 5th year racing and second year on the US National Team. I’m a senior in high school in Salt Lake City, Utah, where I also plan to attend college and continue skimo racing!! Skimo is still very small in the United States, and every contribution and act of support means the world to us, so thank you!!!

Hey! My name is Landon and I’m so excited to have the opportunity to head to Switzerland to race in the individual, sprint, and vertical at the World Championships! This is my third season on Silverfork Skimo and second season on the United States Skimo National Team. Skimo quickly became my greatest passion after I joined the team, and I’ve been obsessed with it ever since. It has been a big goal of mine for the past two seasons to qualify for the World Championships. I’m super stoked! When I'm not training for Skimo, I enjoy school, playing piano, climbing, biking, and surfing. Hello! I’m Benjamin, a Silverfork Skimo athlete! I’m so excited to have qualified for World Championships in the sprint, individual, and vertical. This is my second season doing Skimo and my first year on the USA Skimo National Team. Once I started skimo, I immediately knew how awesome this sport is, and I have been obsessed ever since. Last year I was inspired by my teammates who raced the Youth World Cups in Europe, and it has been my goal to represent the US ever since. Outside of Skimo, I enjoy mountain biking, climbing, and playing violin. Thank you so much to everyone who helps us get over to Europe! Hi! My name is Helen Desmond, I am a 17-year-old from Santa Fe, NM. This is my 3rd season competing in ski mountaineering, second season on Silverfork, and second season competing for the US National Ski Mountaineering team. I have grown up in the mountains, and when I am not skiing, I enjoy running, mountain biking, and spending my time outside. Over the past two seasons, I've had the opportunity to race across the United States and internationally in World Cups held in France, Germany, and Norway. These experiences have broadened my perspective on the sport and fueled my ambition to work even harder to qualify for the World Championships this year. I am so honored to represent the United States in the vertical, sprint, and individual events. My teammates and I appreciate every donation that will help us get to Europe!

Hi! My name is Carson, and this will be my second World Championships. I can’t wait to represent USA Skimo in the sprint, vertical, and individual! I started skimo in eighth grade and immediately fell in love with the sport: this is my fifth season with Silverfork and my third on the national team. Hi, my name is Joshua! I’m very excited to race the sprint in Switzerland at the World Championships. I’ve been doing ski mountaineering for 8 years now, and I love being out in the mountains. Hi! My name is McCall Birkinshaw! I fell in love with ski mountaineering around 7 years ago. I have trained and explored with Silverfork Skimo in the Wasatch Mountains. I have been on the national team for 2 years and feel super grateful to have the opportunity to race in the World Championships.
